This week's challenger is Fab Folds....

This week's challenge is Fab Folds so I used the following image :

Making a List digital stamp

from: with a Z-Fold card.

Quickly colored in the image, two brads in the top corners and some string attached to the bottom.  You won't be able to see it because of the way I took the picture, but I applied paper to the back side of the z-fold and than another paper to inside.  Applied brown cardstock to inside back of card and a white piece over that for the sentiment.

Please stop by for this week's challenge which begins today, and join in the fun.

Thank you for stopping by, and hugs to all.

PP-Chibi Snowflakes

PP-Chibi Snowflakes.

This cut file is a cute file...and I used the following Peachy Keen Face stamps on them...

PK-548 1 1/4" Snow Faces for the left Snowflake.

PK-643 Boy Mates 1 1/8" Stamp for the right Snowflake.

Both face stamps can be purchased at Peachy Keen Stamps

I cut out using my Silhouette Cameo...when ordering the Snowflake file the face comes with a Kawaii face which if broke apart, and created a plain circle to allow me to stamp the face on.

These are simple and nothing fancy tags for gifts or can be used as a small thank you card.

The snowflake file is for MAILING LIST subscribers ONLY.  Please sign up for the weekly newsletter prior to midnight Friday to receive the newsletter and you will be able to select the FREE files each week.  Sign up for the newsletter at

Check out her store at to see the many cut files she has to offer.

Thank you for stopping by, and hugs to all.

21st November - Spotlight on Lauren Curtis - Anything Goes

Here is my spotlight on a drawing of Lauren Curtis in the Anything Goes challenge at

Using my Bic Markers, I colored the Turkey and Fall items, layered onto a black piece of card stock.  Took some baker twine and wrapped around the end 3 times, and than attached the layers to the base. A simple card and quick to work up.

The digi image is available from:

Also there is a 50% off sale of digi items for Black Friday at their store.

Thank you for visiting with me, and hugs to all; and a Happy Thanksgiving to all.

Chibi Penquins

This week has gone by fast and time for another posting of Ann's great cut files...

with this set I created gift tags using the Chibi Penquins, both boy and girl.  The girl I cut out a tree ornament to set her on.  Stamped snow flakes on the sides of each penguin.   On the card, which is a Z-Fold card, I used design paper with a winter theme on the front and the inside of the first fold.

For the face, I used

PK-493 Everyday Character Face Parts 3" to 4"

With the Chibi Penquin Boy I cut out a scalloped circle, and also used a pieced from the cut file

Snowman Tags and stamped snow flakes on the two sides.

Both files are available from

Here is another picture of the Chibi Penquin cut file:

Christmas Card

Come and join us at:

And this is my DT submission:

North Pole cut file available at:  Cut and Create Store

I took the North Pole cut file and created a shape card, placing the shadowed blackout of the pole and snowbank to a square and created a 8.5" x 5.5" card base.  Using the pieces from the cut file I layered them onto the shadowed blackout.  I used Frosted Lace Stickles on the pole and snowbank.  Added a cloud from the SCAL3 Library to the inside of card, placing at top behind the pole.  I used a small piece of design paper with snowflakes for the side, and stamped snowflakes on inside of card.  When I get ready to mail card to a friend or family member, I will stamp a sentiment on the inside of card.  Happy Holidays to all..."

Thank you for stopping by, and Happy Thanksgiving to all.

Christmas Bows/Ribbon and Buttons Challenge

Check out the challenge at and come and join us.

Here is my ribbon across the top of card with the sentiment added that is a print and cut creation that I used my Silhouette Studio Designing Edition and Cameo.  The poinsettia is the Christmas Florals set from

I created the card base using Make the Cut software and the Boolean  Join option to create the cut out in the card base.  Than used Inkscape to create the fold line for the card base.

I added the three buttons and inserted a brad in the center of the flower. Using my distressed tool I recently purchased, I rough up the edges along some of the petals..  but I am glad the picture is dark enough that you're not able to see the boo-boo ... was trying to ink the edges with some paint I had and did not like the results ... :-)  Otherwise I am happy with the over-all results of this project...what do you think?

Thank you for stopping by, and hugs to all.

Happy Thanksgiving to all....

Another French Fry Box

PP-French Fry Box

Another version of the French Fry Box that I created this afternoon.  I scalloped the top edge of the box and place a circle label in front of the scalloped edge with a scalloped edge on the back of the box. Print and cut the circle using Silhouette Studio Designing Edition and the Cameo.

I used the pumpkin and leaf vine from from on of their files, I believe
the Harvest Girl Bear, place on a oval and adhered to the front of box.  Wrapped a bakers twine around the bottom edge.  I will try to use a band to wrap around the box as part of the decoration...just haven't quite figured it out yet.

Thank you for stopping by and hugs to all.

Re-posting of Sign Language card

Sign Language Card

was created back in June, 2012 for my granddaughters, Alexis and Kassidy.  It is a layered front with the hands signing I Love You.  I brought the hand over into the inside of the card, making a pop-up with the heart and word 'you'...inserting a picture of myself, once again for the granddaughters in Korea.

I received the cut file from

as a freebie in June, 2012 as part of test cut project.  I love this file and it was great to cut out with my machine.

Thank you for stopping by, and hugs to all.

14th November - Design Team Feature - Jill's Challenge - Photo Inspiration

Ho Ho Santa

available from

Actually this is a quick card....I used layers and than a picture of Ho Ho Santa for my design this week.  I chose yellow layer and a shade of blue for the card base to go with the photo inspiration this week .  I layered a ribbon on the tag ribbon after cutting a 'v' at the bottom of each.  Stamped the sentiment on lower right hand corner.

Check out design team members great project at and thank you for stopping by.  Hugs to all.

Winter's Blue...

This cut file is named Winter Blue and available from

I used the same type of card base as last weeks, only tried to make it more of a triangle fold.  The cut file is great...what can I say....great to cut out, and great to put together.  Instead of using the face with cut out eyes, I stamped the eyes only from Peachy Keen Faces and soo easy to do.  The mouth, I will have to say, is one I used with a brown fine tip pen and the bottom of a glue pen and than the two sides I had drawn in.

The sentiment is from a font I font on the Internet somewhere, and I cut out the snowflakes from the SCAL3  Shape Library: Winter.  I stamped snowflakes along the sides and inside part of the card.

Thank you for stopping by and hugs to all.

BAP #40 - Give Thanks Card

BAP #40 Give Thanks Card

I took the file for the Give Thanks Layout, resized it and created this card which I will be sending to my son and family in Korea.

Entered this card in the this challenge

Thank you for stopping by and hugs to all.

Christmas - Not a Card Challenge

I created a scrap page layout using the following cut files:

Pine trees and snow from

Snowman and font from Internet search (can't remember where I obtain them)

The Snowflakes and snow shovel from thru

Cardstock from Wal-mart

I used Ice Stickles and Frosted Lace Stickles from local scrapbook store for edges of pine trees.  Sprayed the snowflakes with glimmer paint and rubbing alcohol to give the snowflakes and snow bank a shimmery look.

I created the mat using the font for the edges and down the right side and than cut out the font letters and added to the mat.  A square mat for a photo of your choice.

Thank you for visiting with me, and please stop by and join in the challenge.

Challeng #19 Christmas Red & White

This is a new digi stamp that will be available at that I used for the next challenge at .

I brought the digi stamp into my SCAL3 software and created a shape card, after shadowing the candy cane. Than created a square and joined the two images together creating the shape card.  Using my Copic markers I colored the candy cane  and ribbon.  And placed white gemstones on the ribbon.  Along the side of the card I used my white gel marker and drew lines hopefully giving it the look of Christmas paper.  I printed Happy Holidays out using my Abode Photoshop Elements 7 than trimmed with my paper cutter and placed on foam tape on the lower part of the candy cane.

This card will be sent to my 2 granddaughters in Korea in the next mail going out.

Thank you for stopping by, and hugs to all.
